About Me

My name is Karen Huss and I work with RE/MAX Oceanside Realty in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. Born and raised in California, I moved to Costa Rica with my husband in 2011 full time when we started building our house on the beach on the Central Pacific Coast.  We first came to Costa Rica in 2006 on vacation and bought a Los Suenos condo the day before we headed back home.  We just felt like this was the place we needed to be so when my husband retired we came down here and relaxed and enjoyed!  Then we fell in love with a home our friends had built on the beach and we just had to have one of our own!  We were fortunate to have had a wonderful building experience and are thrilled with our beautiful villa with all the conveniences of an American style home.  We golf, travel the world, rescue dogs, do lots of charity work and enjoy life and good friends.  Meanwhile, I work in the real estate while my husband trades options.  If you need any information about visiting or moving to Costa Rica, please feel free to email me or call any time!  I’m happy to share all I can about this wonderful country.
